My proudest fete is being a mother of five. Being a mother of five means little or no time for me. Between taking kids to sporting events, staying up late with homework assignments, you would think I had enough physical activity to stay in shape. The kids have their activities, my husband plays golf weekly, but what did I do for myself. I’ve tried buying equipment to work out on my own, but never had the discipline. That all changed when I met Mark! I was looking for something unique, something different and something fun. I never exercised in a consistent manner and was nervous about whether or not I could handle the workout. I signed up. I was asked what I wanted to get out of the program. I didn’t want to become a professional boxer, but I didn’t want to be a frail old woman either! The one-on-one attention is phenomenal. The session is about me! 14 weeks later, my husband has commented about how my arms and legs are looking good! My children have noticed I’m getting stronger and are actually coming to me for tips on getting ready for their sports season! They can’t wait until I come home after my boxing session to see what I did this week! I have one son who makes sure I do my “homework” in between boxing sessions! It is the quickest time frame of my week, and I enjoy every minute! It’s more than a program for me and it isn’t just boxing. It is a total workout, and you don’t need expensive equipment! I’m gaining discipline, I’m gaining definition in my arms and legs, I’m not as “tired” when doing the simplest of tasks, and I’m having a blast!
