I have been working out with Mark for 8 years. I enjoy the workouts because we rarely do the same routine twice.
We get in strength, aerobics, and balance workouts specifically designed for me which have helped me maintain good physical and mental health.
I signed up with Mark thinking I would give it a month or two…something to do for the Summer. It has been 10 or 11 years now. I thoroughly enjoy my workouts with Mark each week. I never know what to expect. I’ve said a few times that training last year for a half marathon was easier than working out with Mark! I’ve never been so sore! However, he pushes me to limits that I normally would not strive for; sometimes to my surprise I do better than I expect. It’s always challenging but fun as I always come back for more!
I never thought I would look forward to an hour of hard exercise and sweat…but every week I look forward to the time I spend at Patton Boxing. Yes there is the improvement I see in my physical and mental health, But the encouragement and sincere attention to my goals given by Mark have more to do with my accomplishments than anything else.
I worked out with Mark for about 5 years before he relocated to Florida. I was in the best shape of my life! I miss my workouts with Mark immensely. He makes the workouts fun, but challenging. Mark is an excellent trainer. His tough boxing sessions are balanced by lots of laughs and encouragement. Your body will transform and you will see in places you did not know existed. Your mind will become stronger. I highly recommend Mark and his boxing training workouts. He keeps it fresh and challenging. Never the same workout twice.
My proudest fete is being a mother of five. Being a mother of five means little or no time for me. Between taking kids to sporting events, staying up late with homework assignments, you would think I had enough physical activity to stay in shape. The kids have their activities, my husband plays golf weekly, but what did I do for myself. I’ve tried buying equipment to work out on my own, but never had the discipline. That all changed when I met Mark! I was looking for something unique, something different and something fun. I never exercised in a consistent manner and was nervous about whether or not I could handle the workout. I signed up. I was asked what I wanted to get out of the program. I didn’t want to become a professional boxer, but I didn’t want to be a frail old woman either! The one-on-one attention is phenomenal. The session is about me! 14 weeks later, my husband has commented about how my arms and legs are looking good! My children have noticed I’m getting stronger and are actually coming to me for tips on getting ready for their sports season! They can’t wait until I come home after my boxing session to see what I did this week! I have one son who makes sure I do my “homework” in between boxing sessions! It is the quickest time frame of my week, and I enjoy every minute! It’s more than a program for me and it isn’t just boxing. It is a total workout, and you don’t need expensive equipment! I’m gaining discipline, I’m gaining definition in my arms and legs, I’m not as “tired” when doing the simplest of tasks, and I’m having a blast!
What and experience! Working with Mark helps to condition my mind as well as my body. So many exercises are focused only on repetitive motion and “Sets”. With Mark you never know what you are going to get. His workouts make you focus on speed, endurance, accuracy and form. I usually schedule my workouts with Mark after work so that I can pound out my frustrations while taking off some pounds. I must say I am now in better shape than I was when I was in high school!
I would like to take this opportunity to say that since I started with
Patton Boxing over a year ago, I have not lost one bar fight!…. ok I
haven’t been in a fight ever, but Mark has made me more fit, while
having a blast. I go twice a week and would do it every day if I could.

I have been working out with Mark for around 4-5 years! I never know what to expect at each session and have never repeated the same workout in all these years. Mark keeps you moving and motivated throughout the entire workout. He has me doing things I never would have thought I could do!
